Tak - każdy kto miał chociaż troszeczkę matematyki na studiach musiał się i z tym zetknąć - wektory, macierze, euklidesowe przestrzenie i inne przyjemności. Przedmiot mi się podobał mimo że w liceum wektorów nie darzyłem wielką miłością. A tak to już jest, że jak przedmiot się podoba, to zadania robią się same i chodzi się często do tablicy zyskując w oczach ćwiczeniowca (nazwijmy ją Panią od Algebry Liniowej). Ponieważ w czasie pierwszego semestru na matematyce zdarzyło mi się przeczytać Cyberiadę Stanisława Lema, w tym genialny wiersz Elektrybałta Trurla. Nie pamiętam już w jakim kontekście, ale zapytałem kiedyś Panią od Algebry Liniowej czy zna ten wiersz i ku mojemu bezgranicznemu zdziwieniu (i jeszcze większemu zdziwieniu grupy :P) zaczęła go recytować z pamięci i odwzajemniła mi się pytaniem czy znam wiersz o równoległoboku. Oczywiście nie znałem, jednak na następnych zajęciach przyniosła mi kartkę z jego treścią. Kartkę potem oddałem, zakładając że znajdę sobię w Googlach. Myliłem się. Po przeszło trzech latach znalazłem ten wiersz w internecie, w google books. Tytuł to “Parallelagram or infant optimism”, autor to A.E. Housman. Można go przeczytać tutaj: link. Polecam wszystkim fanatykom matematyki i geometrii. Do śmiechu i ku zadumie (nad trudnym życiem równoległoboku :) ). |
